Description:
NGC1647 is an open cluster very near the Hyades in the constellation Taurus. It is estimated to be 150 million years old and at a distance of approximately 1800 light years.

Orion Astrograph 8" f/3.9 Newtonian

Orion Shorttube 80mm w/ Starshoot Autoguider
 
Exposure Details:
Camera settings were ISO 200, shutter speed of 120 seconds. A total of 40 light frames and 20 dark frames were acquired for this image.
