The Double Cluster in Perseus

Description: I have a particular reverence for this object because it was the first object ever shown to me at my very first star party. This cluster is gorgeous in binoculars, telescopes, and photographs, and is also visible to the naked eye from a dark sky site. This image contains NGC869 and NGC884.

Imaging Scope/Lens: Canon EF 300mm f/4.0L IS USM
Mount/Tripod: Celestron CGEM
Guide Scope/Camera: Orion Astrograph 8" f/3.9 Newtonian
Exposure Details: ISO 1600, f/5.0, exposure time 2 minutes. This image is a stack of 40 light frames and 9 dark frames.
