Description: This beautiful wide-field image is roughly centered on the star Alnitak (Zeta Orionis) and includes IC434 (The Horsehead Nebula), NGC2024 (The Flame Nebula), M78/NGC2068, NGC2071, NGC2067, NGC2064, IC431, IC432, NGC2023, and IC435.
Imaging Camera: Canon EOS 60D
Imaging Scope/Lens: Canon EF 300mm f/4.0L IS USM
Mount/Tripod: Celestron CGEM
Guide Scope/Camera: Orion Astrograph 8" f/3.9 Newtonian
Exposure Details: Camera settings were ISO 1600, f/4.0. A total of eight four-minute exposures were stacked to create this final image.
