Description:
The Sombrero Galaxy, catalogued as Messier 104 and NGC 4594, is a beautiful, unique unbarred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Virgo. It sits at a distance of approximately 28 million light years from Earth.

Exposure Details:
Camera settings were ISO 800 with 75-second exposures. 45 out of 51 light frames as well as 15 dark frames were stacked to create this composite image. Captured using BackyardEOS 2.1 Beta 5, stacked using Deep Sky Stacker, and processed in Photoshop CS6 using Scott Rosen's DSLR LLRGB method.
