Polaris By the Oak Tree
Photographed by Scott Davis on March 9, 2013
From Eastman Lake, California

Description:
This image was carefully composed to capture the beautiful shapes of the oak tree superimposed on the dramatic rotation of the stars around the celestial north pole. The image is a clear reminder that Polaris, while extremely close to north, is still not quite there.
