Sagittarius
Photographed by Fred Lusk on July 25, 2003
From Courtright Reservoir, Fresno County, CA

Description:
This image shows most of the constellation Sagittarius and some of the surrounding constellations. The Great Rift and the Pipe Nebula are both obvious. Numerous star clusters and nebulas are also visible, although the film used renders nebulas grey instead of red and blue.

Imaging Camera:
Zuiko 50 mm f/1.4

Imaging Scope/Lens:
Olympus OM-1N (35 mm SLR) piggybacked on telescope

Mount/Tripod:
Celestron C5+ single fork arm with integrated wedge

Guide Scope/Camera:

Exposure Details:
Boot's Camera handled developing and scanning the negatives. The rest of the exposure data is missing, but the following is likely what I did: [1] Film was probably Kodak Royal Gold 100. [2] Exposure was probably around 30-minutes. [3] Lens aperture was probably f/4 or f/5.6.
