Planet Dancing
Photographed by Scott Davis on May 26, 2013
From Clovis, California
On May 26, 2013, we had a rather rare astronomical event, where three planets did a dance in a mere 2.5-degree circle in the sky. Between two trees being blown by the wind, the three planets Venus (bottom), Jupiter (middle left), and Mercury (upper right) appear as a beautiful triangle in the sky.
