Glacier Point, Yosemite National Park
Our annual Glacier Point star party is a public event taking place at the Glacier Point Amphitheater in Yosemite National Park.

Take Highway 41 North through Oakhurst and enter into Yosemite National Park. Once inside, turn left onto Wawona Road and drive approximately 16.9 miles, turning right on Glacier Point Road. Drive an additional 15 miles and park in the parking lot at the end of Glacier Point Road. Our observing site is at the Amphitheatre just south of the Glacier Point Trailhead.

Club members that bring a scope are able to camp for free at the Bridalveil Campground for both nights that we are there. Reservations made through the club are required.

NOTE: Entrance to Yosemite National Park is not free. A per-vehicle daily use fee applies, or you may purchase an annual pass. Contact the Yosemite office of the National Park Service at (209) 372-0200 for further information.
